James W. Carrier
Partner, Director of Marketing
Jim joined Edgewood Management in 2001 where he serves as the Director of Marketing. A 1984 graduate of Colgate University, Jim’s industry experience includes working at Standard & Poor’s Securities where he managed sales for the soft dollar brokerage unit. He is the founder of the Veterans Appreciation Council in Greenwich, Connecticut which he operated from 1991-2009. Jim serves on several boards whose efforts are focused on supporting military personnel and their families which include The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund and Fisher House Foundation. He also served a 5 year term on the Navy SEAL Warrior Fund and a 10 year term on the board of The Intrepid Museum Foundation. Jim also serves as a Blue and Gold Officer for the United States Naval Academy where he assists in the admissions process.
Kitty joined Edgewood in November 2012. She works closely with the investment team in the design, implementation and updating of quarterly marketing materials for the company, and meeting individual and quarterly data requests. She is also the Executive Assistant to three partners.
Scott D. Edwardson
Partner, Senior Research Analyst
Scott graduated from the University of Michigan in 1992 with a BSE in Industrial and Operations Engineering. After college he worked at Ford Motor Company in forecasting, planning, and logistics for five years before leaving to attend graduate school. Scott graduated with honors from Columbia University Graduate School of Business in 2000 receiving an MBA in Finance and Accounting and is currently a member of Hermes Society Leadership Committee. While studying full time at Columbia he worked as an analyst at Gabelli Asset Management and later interned at Edgewood Management. He accepted a Senior Research position with Edgewood Management in 2000 and was promoted to Managing Director in 2010 and was made a Partner in December 2016. Scott is currently a member of the Ridgefield Orchestra Foundation Board.
Senior Research Analyst
Saad joined Edgewood in July 2015. Prior to that, Saad was an analyst at Northwoods Capital, Oak Hill Capital and Lazard Freres. After earning his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in 2003 he went on to gain an M.B.A from Harvard Business School in 2010. Saad is a founding member of the Nur Project, an organization committed to promoting progressive causes in Pakistan.
Junior Research Analyst
Jennifer joined Edgewood in July 2018. Her responsibilities include comprehensive research and analysis of both portfolio companies and future investment opportunities. Through industry presentations, companies’ conferences, research presentations and other company-centric events, she assists the Investment Committee in its analysis and improvement of Edgewood’s portfolio.
